The month of July, 2014 Nikki Bella participated in the handicap match with Summer Rae Natalya Eva Marie Rosa Mendes Summer Rae. Ariana only came to fight Nikki Bella. On the Battleground pre-show, she was in a match with Naomi. Ariana won the match. At the end of the day, it led to their competition. Throughout the summer they fought in a number of handicap singles as well as tag match matches. In the years that followed, Ariana wrestled alongside fellow wrestlers like Paige Bella Twins Alicia Fox and Asuka. After two months of inactivity, WWE released Ariana from her contract. Arina joined WWE NXT when she resigned from WWE. She was featured in a couple of shows of NXT including the NXT Women's Championship, where Bayley was her teammate.
